3Bill buys heavenly social network

3BILL has acquired the youth-oriented UK social network Profile Heaven.

It now plans to re-develop the service so that users of the site can stay connected to their friends through a range of new free applications and services based on mobile connectivity.

3BILL, the mobile arm of new media group Symbios, will use its own software and content platform to integrate some of these features to enhance usage of the site. It will also re-brand the site, calling on the current user base for new ideas and features. A re-launch planned for early this summer.
