Exec re-shuffle at Warner Music

Warner Music Group has had an exec reshuffle with digital boss Alejandro Zubillaga leaving the company.

He will leave to ‘pursue entrepreneurial activities in media and other businesses’ and be replaced Michael Nash, the senior VP on the digital strategy team. Before joining WMG four years ago, Mr. Zubillaga was co-founder of VC firm Lexa Partners.

WMG’s digital revenue grew to $141 million, or 14 per cent of total revenue, in the first quarter 2008. That’s nine per cent up on 4Q 2007.
