MMA adds 33 members

The Mobile Marketing Association has confirmed 33 new members, bringing its total to nearly 600.



Overall, the MMA membership has grown by more than 350 per cent in the past two years. The latest companies to join include: Qwikker; MGM Grand; Sharpcards; TIM; Washington State Employees Credit Union and more.

“Our MMA membership continues to proactively and collaboratively drive the adoption of the mobile channel world-wide,” said Laura Marriott, president of the MMA. “The MMA and its members have spent the last few years laying a solid foundation for growth and we look forward to making 2008 the year for mobile marketing globally.









We are particularly excited about our launch in Latin America and look forward to bringing our experiences in the creation of a sustainable channel for mobile marketing to our newest region.”

The MMA is currently working towards hosting a series of Mobile Marketing Forum events. They include São Paulo (March 26), London (April 15 and 16), New York (June 10 and 11) and San Diego (November 13 – includes MMA Awards ceremony).
