New SWAT Launches for Wireless Phones

SWAT Elite Troops, the follow up mobile game to the award-winning SWAT Force, is now available on mobile phones in North America and Europe from Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games.  The award-winning SWAT Elite Troops features the unique and innovative "Instant Tactical Decision" system that allows players to make immediate, split-second decisions.

In the action packed SWAT Elite Troops game for mobile, players make on-the-fly decisions, save hostages and diffuse bombs while keeping in mind a strategic master plan to guide them through each of the 16 levels and preserve their own health.  The game is more than a "shoot to kill" experience -- gamers must tactically think through each move to stay alive.

Based on the popular SWAT PC franchise, SWAT Elite Troops is the sequel to SWAT Force which won the 2006 Spike TV video game award for Wireless Game of the Year.  Players can now experience the intensity of the Special Weapons and Tactics Force (SWAT) while they lead a team of three highly trained officers through authentic crisis situations to safely rescue hostages and subdue and eliminate enemies by using actual SWAT combat tactics.  As the SWAT leader, it is up to the player to lead their team through missions and minimize hostage and enemy casualties.
