Trutap taps into Facebook

Mobile social networking and messaging specialist integrates itself with Facebook.

Trutap users can now use the application to send a status update to their Facebook profile in the same way they'd send an SMS.

In simple terms, Trutap combines the ability to IM, group message, text and post to blogs and photo-sharing sites into one application.

Facebook members can add the trutap application to their Facebook account. If the're not already Trutap users, they can follow prompts to download the app to their phone.

Doug Richard, CEO of Trutap, said: "We are delighted to offer our users the first of our planned Facebook features. With this application a user can let their friends know they are shopping, hanging out in the park or studying at a cafe as easily as sending an SMS."
