AskMeNow opens mobile platform to publishers
Mobile information access technology provider AskMeNow announced it will open up its mobile platform to publishers, promising partners an efficient, no-cost means of entering the mobile medium while expanding the range of content available to users. According to AskMeNow, members of its Publisher Partner Program will be given their choice of customizable, branded mobile solutions, including mobile search and alert-style SMS content pushes. AskMeNow will also promote partner content via its existing carrier distribution channels, and all partner portals will be tied to its advertising efforts as well. AskMeNow adds it will soon incorporate new partners across multiple content verticals. "By opening AskMeNow up as a platform for publishers to go mobile, consumers will have even more answers at their fingertips and publishers will gain an easy way to reach their customers through a whole new medium," said AskMeNow CEO Darryl Cohen in a prepared statement.
