Insomniac’s PS3 sequel to arrive later this year, with rumours of a demo this July

The keen eyes over at UK consumer site Spong have spotted an almost missable sentence in a recent press release from celebrated developer Insomniac confirming the arrival of its FPS sequel later this year.

It reads: "Insomniac Games is currently developing Resistance 2, which will release this fall, exclusively for PS3."

The news follows yesterday’s developer video, which pegged July 8th as an important date for the title. Spong now speculates that the date might represent the planned release of a demo.
