Brash signs deal with Game Republic
Studio led by famed game producer Yoshiki Okamoto to work on Hollywood IP-based game for 2010 release
Ambitious new publisher Brash, which boasts a straegy solely targetting the production of licence-based games made by third-party independent developers, has signed up respected Japanese outfit Game Republic for a new title.
The studio, which is headed by famed game producer Yoshiki Okamoto and is responsible for recent PS3 games Folklore and Genji. Forme Capcom man Okamoto boasts an impressive CV, and according to Brash has "had a dramatic impact on the styles of gameplay prevalent in modern titles" given his work on Street Fighter II and Resident Evil, plus his staff's work on the Lost Planet, Devil May Cry, Onimusha and Dark Stalkers franchises.
