New phone is par for the course

KTF has launched two phones equipped with a virtual golf caddy programme.

The device includes a GPS app that lets users measure the distance from the green to their current position. To do this, the phones contain the geographic information of 250 golf courses in Korea and receive real-time data from satellites. According to KTF, the system has a five metre accuracy range in most cases.
